Can't believe we're camping on the shores of Lake Champlain!!! We've had incredible experiences in this area of New York. This state continues to keep us on our toes!! We had an amazing hike through the Ausable Chasm where the river was rushing through a canyon of steep walls with incredible force (especially after several big storms the days before our visit.

10 August, 2001 with a return on 15 August,2001. Also hiked here 2003 and on several other ocassions. Best time to visit is summer, at least for me.
