... would have been nice. All over the west we have seen huge yards of enormous caravans for sale or rent - Corey calls them 'road viruses' instead of RV's as they are called here. On the outskirts of Denver there were oil wells pumping away in lots of people's paddocks. Denver is the capital of Carolina and has ...

What a great day out! Another last minute decision but we headed off, on a very hot day, to watch Colorado Rockies take on the Minnesota Twins. Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, is only an hour or so from where we are living so we loaded up with sun cream and off we went.

Stranahan's - A Denver Distillery

I am always looking for new and different things to do in
Denver. I’ve been to many breweries and on a few brewery tours but not on a distillery
tour in Colorado. As well as being near the top in number of microbreweries of
any state and having a significant wine industry on the Western Slope, Colorado
is now near the top of the list in number of small distilleries. I guess
Coloradans just like booze!
