      ... flying. I was very happy today to see that the U.S. flags were flying. I've wanted to see the U.S. flags for quite some time and was happy to finally see them. My next hope is for the Colorado flags but I was happy today and my pictures show it. I took so many pictures of the flags and the street! Then when everyone met up I took more family pictures with the flags as a background.

      ... the stem with flower still attached back to their den. Then they would run off for another. My dad's favorite thing about picas is how they work so hard. Squirrels and other animals seem to be off eating and such but picas are working! They are one of his favorite animal.       From Des Moines, our journey took us west, through the rest of Iowa, across Nebraska, and into Colorado.
      Iowa is very pretty, if a bit farmy. Lots of rolling hills, tons of green, corn everywhere, and landscapes dotted with little barns everywhere. Americana at its finest.
      Nebraska, however, is anything but. There's literally nothing to look at. Flat, boring, depressing. Also, no cell service at all, so you can't even entertain yourself ...
