Friday we socialized with grandmother & talked & talked! The four of us went to the Bethel Cemetary to visit the graves of my grandfather, great-grandparents, & Cornelia. We had another 6 hours to go before getting to our campsite near New Orleans. When we arrived it was about 7 pm. We set up camp, Hugh and Matt played on the play structure and explored while I fixed dinner.
All in all it was a good day, long drive but we made it.
... spare parts -- that actually worked. They were spun around in the MAT. They participated in shuttle missions both as ground control and as mission specialists aboard the shuttle. All of this overseen by a team of dedicated staff, mostly with an engineering background. Who knew learning could be so much fun.
Most importantly they made some great friends from all over the country.
