We arrived here at our Thousand Trails Lake Tawakoni RV Resort (outside of Dallas) on Monday, after a 4+ hour drive from Hot Springs, Arkansas. Got all set up, and decided we'll head out to Denton and Alvarado tomorrow to look at the motorhomes they have in inventory. Fingers were crossed!
On Tuesday, we went to 2 dealers, and saw one coach (a Damon Tuscany) that we liked quite a bit, but it just didn't really satisfy all ...

Breakfast of coffee and oatmeal, made with my immersion water boiler. Set off for Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas. Drove through Mt. ... THEY WEREN'T EVEN SUPPOSE TO BE THERE!! Did I ever luck out. Not only was there someone left to give me a jump, they got there minutes before me and shouldn't have been there at all. If I had been a few minutes later they would have already left that side of the lake. The timing couldn't have been planned better if we tried. PHEW... i dodged a bullet on that one, who knows what I would have done if they hadn't been there to help me out.
