Left Austin about 10am with a nice send-off from the family. Drove north up I-35 until Waco, then turned northeast. Stopped at Collins Street Bakery in Waco and got a really delicious sandwich, plus a blueberry angel food cake, and some coffee. There are some very nicely shaped oak trees around, and lots of open area between us and our neighbors.
