    ... Pacific Ocean, built by William Randolf Hearst who was a media mogul of the 1930's, 40's and 50's. The place was built as a holiday home and cost $6 million back in 1931!     Ok, so I'm not typically an emotional guy. But rolling down the entry to the Santa Monica Pier with thousands of people cheering the soldier riders and seeing Julie put a major league lump in my throat and tears in my eyes.
