... no wifi or communication was any good to us, luckily we ran into a nice couple who knew the fish shop and ended up letting us jump in with them and drove us their! Everyone thought it was pretty funny when we jumped out of a random car on the street in front of them. We had dinner at a cute Italian place because the fish n chip shop had shut. A funny, old, Italian man was our waiter, telling us stories and sharing his passion for cooking. We found a car park ...

... as glamorous as it's made out to be. The sound studios we saw included the Ellen D'Generes show, Two And a Half Men and Big Bang Theory. The sound studios themselves are huge, the ceilings are full of lighting rigs and the film sets are cleverly set up to make them look much bigger on the TV. On the way out of the show we saw the seals and sea lions which ...

... dolphin and bird show, where it also involved acrobats and divers jumping from great heights, they would have been freezing though in the water, it was quite a cold day and as you can see from the photos we indeed needed our emergency ponchos because when it rained, IT RAINED, lol we thought as we were already wet we would brave the rapids and the log ride, it was so much fun! We then found a massive human dryer and used this to help dry off and warm up. ...

... used to live to visit old friends and then come south to see Monica. They brought us a wonderful bottle of west coast wine that had a rich, oak like taste to it. Very good. Charlotte and Monica's mother are cousins but as only children they were as close as sisters and have many intriguing stories to tell about escaping from central Europe at the end of WWII. Hugo and Charlotte arrived in Canada with very little and represent one of those stories that ...
