... passed the Welcome to Arizona sign. It's always fun to drive on I-40 through Arizona as we pass all the old Route 66 roadside attractions. Only in Arizona will you find a teepee on the side of the road. It was a hot drive and so when we got to Flagstaff the trees and cooler temperatures were welcomed! All too soon we started into the Valley and felt the heat increase by the minute.

May 9th Wednesday--Up early and did some house things, took a shower and headed out to shop. I had seen a dress in the paper that I wanted and was sure that after trying it on I would not like it---but I loved it and I was able to get a size small! With the help of Francisco, I finally found where my host family is located! It is right near the downtown area of Trujillo. I am excited to be living in Trujillo and working in Huanchaco so I get two different environments to experience! Public Transportation will be needed to get to work everyday and from what I can tell on the map it doesn't look too close, but they assured me that it won't take longer than 15 minutes by bus!
