    ... Saltillo at 0800, got here at 1100 (such has been my travel luck lately). Don't know what the hangup was, but there were a ton of busses and only one baggage check line (though from what I saw, the inspectors were pushing things along pretty quick).

    ... service was excellent. We sat at the bar for a good view of the big screen tv and ordered a blooming onion for an appetizer. If you have never heard of these then let me explain. They cut a whole onion into strips, still connected at the bottom so it looks like a blooming flower. Then they batter it and deep fry the whole thing.     Wow. We actually made it o to the road by 3...ish....
    We joined up with our friend nitesh and made the run for the border!
    Good time made in the dark with the excellent support of my copilot at least when she was awake haha
