    ... the safety/lifeboat drill. Immediately after, the ship set sail and we went poolside for a bowl of Sail Away Punch, watched kids in the pool and saw the port slowly slipping away.

    Back in the stateroom, our bags had been delivered so we unpacked. This mini suite is about 50 sq ft bigger than the normal stateroom I remember from previous NCL cruises, but there is so much storage and nice amenities included.

    Had breakfast at Magnolia Diner in Houston, which had the biggest serves I've seen in my life. Sam ordered the Big Breakfast, but without sausage and meat patty, when it arrived at the table I reckon the plate had an entire pigs worth of bacon on it.
