... to get it all settled. Since our room was just under 80 bucks, I guess the 100 extra was in case of damages. She told the guy that "he might get a refund" and that he should check back before they checked out. "We have a new computer system." I'm really not sure why that prevented her from knowing hotel policy, and I was too tired at that point to care. Take-away lesson: do not pay cash at a hotel. And get a reservation.
