    We started out at the Ticonderoga, the last steamboat paddlewheel boat built on Lake Champlain. This museum is really cool because you can go everywhere, climb all over the boat and there are docents here and there to answer all your questions.

    ... Hampshire? We better check this out!
    So off the interstate we turned into the small town of Lee, New Hampshire. Four miles outside of town we came to this small but very cute winery situated in the rolling farmland. To our dismay they did not open on Sunday until 12:00 noon, so we could only take pictures then return back to the interstate to continue our journey to discover Vermont.

    ... lake began was not worth the risk. It was a beautiful island and would be very pretty in all seasons.

    After Acadia (and 4 nights in a row of sleeping in the van, which is well shy of last trips record, we must be getting old!) we were very excited to be heading to New Hampshire, the land of no tax, for a hotel and 2 days shopping.
