Time to move on to Danville, Vermont! Why? Because we are slowly making our way over to Niagara Falls.
We weren't but 20 miles from Bar Harbor when a tire blew on the 5th wheel. Boy did it destroy the tire!! It didn't do to much damage to the camper but did break the cold water line. We waited a very long time to get someone to help change the tire. Since I had the flashers on my batteries went dead and I ...

"My eyes are watering! I have clouds in my eyes!" Today we left our hotel nice and early - not before stealing some of their ice for the cooler bag. We didn't leave as early as we had wanted as Peter spent 15 minutes talking to the guy at reception about how he had bought a hatchet as a birthday present for his 5 year old son and now the social services were concerned. Mallett's Bay is located on the 40 mile Island Line Trail. We biked about 12 miles of this beautiful, well maintained trail that includes waterfront and parks which connects Burlington to South Hero Island. A large portion of this trail is a former Rutland Railroad railbed (stopped running in the 1960s) which includes a very long causeway across Malletts Bay. Many people were out riding on this beautiful sunny ...

Back to Vermont in Malletts Bay

Malletts Bay is a popular vacation spot with campgrounds and four big marinas. We chose Champlain Marina because Linda and Brian on Splashdown (met in Sorel) stayed here 21 days and really liked it. The cruise across the lake was beautiful even though it was hazy and breezy. ...
