    ... The battery people are saying that the battery (the reason we sailed here - risking life and limb - from Mexico) is not covered by warranty after all. We're gearing up a battle, but after our serious loss to the US Government we're not feeling too confident.

    And my Burgee hasn't arrived.

    And I can't find anything artistic to photograph.

    ... the birds are singing, we just passed a lollop (Jean says the correct collective noun for Manatees is "aggregation" but I prefer "lollop") of about 14 Manatees (Ken's numbers not mine), the bridges are opening for us, and everything is perfect in Paradise. The Port engine just packed up, but hey, who's being picky?


    PS Sorry there are no decent photos. Photographs are frowned upon in Border Securty.

    ... and very briefly for a few times. It rained some time before we got up but remained just overcast the entire day. After breakfast, we drove out in Fran's car. First stop was Costco where there was a pond. When the weather is good, there were many birds there. Today we saw a few only and I took a few pictures.
