We had an early start today, bags ready by 6:30 and on the bus to leave at 7:30am, we had to reach Niagara Falls by day's end. I had breakfast at Lenwich (Lennys), a Western Omelet and it was delicious. The bus ride was surprisingly good, the coach is comfortable and we watched several DVDs during the ride. We stopped at McDonalds for a morning break then had lunch at Wagmars at Corning. By this stage I was feeling a little unwell, travel ...

... centre. We decided to take a ride on the Niagara Falls Sky Wheel, like a big Ferris wheel. It gave a good view of the surrounding area on its 4 rotations. We stopped in for a bit of a play in a time zone type place, Riley usually finding some kind of game he can cheat on so he wins lots of tickets :-) Then on walking along the Main Street, we stopped in at a Hooters for some lunch, just a platter of wings, some fries and onion rings. ...

... Sure, still pretty breathtaking, worth taking the obligatory million shots in the hope of discovering the essence of man's awe in the face of nature. The cascading water wasn't as loud as I would have thought and there weren't many people, what with it being so very chilly. The multiculturalism of Toronto continues to inspire me, though, with Sikhs and Muslims and Europeans and South Americans and Koreans all smiling politely and bobbing past ...
