... do a little solo. By far the best was this 15 year old girl on the fiddle and singing. She had a really southern accent designed for country and she stole the show. After this I ventured back to Broadway and visited another bar. Then home to bed about 1am kind of tipsy. Was diffidently a massive slap in the face of country music that's for sure. And all night the only song I knew was Sweet Home Alabama. Ha ha. Off to Memphis today for two nights then New Orleans. Good week ...
... and she was pretty impressed to meet some people from England. She said we won the award for travelling the farthest to be there! Haha.
After they had played our request (Wagon Wheel) and Olly had signed the wall in permanent marker (don’t worry – it’s not graffiti, it’s encouraged!) we reluctantly made our way back to our hotel to collect our luggage and took a cab to the Megabus stop.

We finished the evening by walking down Broadway Street (a main honkey tonk street) listening to various artists songs drifting through the clubs.
That's about it for tonight. We head to the Memphis area tomorrow. Memphis sits in the corner of Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi. We'll be staying on the Mississippi side.
