Greetings everyone,

OK, so I cheated. This isn't really an exciting travel update. It's a request to view my fundraising website and send it on to as many people as you know. You can even send it to people that you don't know! :-) As long as they are interested in learning more about pygmy hippos, and maybe supporting my research!

Well... It was a rough start to the day as Eric managed to drop the ball by leaving his glasses in the rental car he turned in. Shhh! Don't tell Lisa! Good news is that Eric has prescription sunglasses - so he can see - sort of;( So Eric spent a bit of time today trying to figure out how to get his glasses back without causing a major issue in the travel schedule. As the dark clouds began rolling in with distant thunder - we wanted to get eyes on the singing Bachman's ...

... speaks better english than Maxi which has come in handy on occasion. His son Franco is a typical three year old except he speaks bits and pieces of English and Italian. He's highly susceptible to caffeine and sugar and wants to be sure you know he's there. There's a pool and two yellow labs out front and my guest room has amazing views of Parana from a nearby hilltop where Maxi built his home. All in all I couldn't have asked for ...

... praying for us on our journey.
Many times God's messenger comes in the form of a friend we haven't met before. God is in control. He has our best interest in mind.
The beautiful Christmas tree is at Leah's. I had her text me a picture when she got it up. She is preparing for the boat parade party she is hosting this week-end. I am sure the boys are enjoying it ...
