... floral shop, Strawberry Fields, for tea towel and candle purchases. Heading to the west end of Richmond, we stopped for lunch at The Continental. The menu offered several sandwich and pizza options. It was good and I loved the inflatable globe/lantern ceiling decor. While we shopped, Buddy took the Harley for a check-up and met a friend for lunch on the southside of Richmond.

Being with family made all of these days fun.

... Peter had ever had! Afterwards it was back on the road to Monticello, the private residence and plantation of Thomas Jefferson. In the queue to get in we heard the quote above, which sounded just too American to not be our quote for the day. It was interesting to learn about the former president, he seemed to be like an 18th century Leonardo da Vinci. ...

... life stories that were being exchanged. Jack took us through his town - and we saw the kids school, met local shop owners and got to see this gorgeous area where our our friends live. Later in the evening we saw Nancy and it was like slipping back in time, so many happy memories together we have all shared. Nancy cooked the most amazing crab cakes for dinner and it was completed with pecan pie. Many drinks were had including ...
