Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room good with helpful facilities. Lots of local shops and places to eat - easy to get onto 110 and 405, 20 minutes from Manhattan and Rodondo Beaches.

Would happily stay there again - great value-for-money.

Our journey started at 4.30am this morning, (Sunday 14th). The cab was booked for 5.30 to collect us. Got to Heathrow within 50mins so had plenty of time to check in, eat and hang around. Luckily our flight wasn't delayed or anything and in fact, think we actually left about 10 mins before original departure time. Flight was awful! 11 hours in such a small space is not good. We had server turbulence a few times and the hostesses were rude and unhelpful. But at last we landed. Got ...

... drink and watching a few episodes of foodtube on their entertainment system and we were there! We did intend on getting a taxi but the app estimated a cost of up to $62 - no way! So we got a bus which was $8 each but took us a little longer. LA is huge! We arrived at our airbnb and set out stuff down. We had a quick chat with Heidi who were staying with (she got us a bottle of prosecco as congratulations and some fresh fruit!) and left straight away to make our way to ...

... That evening, I’m overcome with emotion. I feel dirty and sick to my stomach. I soak in a hot, floral scented bubble bath to cleanse myself of the evil that touched me earlier today. I think how fortunate I am that I’ve never had anything worse done to me, and that our company moved so quickly to fire the creep.

The Californians are so mellow here...and it's no wonder with this gorgeous sun and blue blue sky. Every sentence is finished with...'alright', 'Yeah', 'too easy'. Except imagine it now stretched out with an American accent. Boom. Welcome to LA.

We started the day early getting picked up at our hotel for the full Hollywood experience. We drove over the concrete river bed featured in that famous car race scene in Grease. No spotting ...

... The area I was familiar with as I pretty much spend most of my last week there. We drove by the massive shoe store, in and out burger and I totally recognised the back of the Jimmy Kimmel show Live. We waited until the bus arrived and got out. We had an hour and twenty minutes to look around, take photos, shop, eat and do whatever we wanted until we had to be back and ready at iDA studios, a bit further upon Hollywood Boulevard. Gioia and I went to the toilet, passed ...
