Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room good with helpful facilities. Lots of local shops and places to eat - easy to get onto 110 and 405, 20 minutes from Manhattan and Rodondo Beaches.

Would happily stay there again - great value-for-money.

... the enemy! I quickly retreated to a safe watching distance to regroup from my mistake. This put me in a dilemma. I decide to try again the next day to confront him, hopefully with a better outcome.

The show ended at 6 and Jordan and I went to our accommodations for the next two nights, Circus Circus. Everytime I mentioned that we were going to be staying at Circus Circus, people laughed, when we got there I could see why. ...

... miles of the Los Angeles area, the Pacific Ocean, and even Catalina Island way in the distance. It was really a neat experience and one that was even better because we had not known how far we had hiked. We went down the mountain at a quicker pace and got to the car at 5:15pm, just in time to get back to PCC for dinner. I just now looked up how far the hike was: we hiked 11 miles up to 4,714 feet in a little over 5 hours. Needless to say, after that hike we ...

So, I now have a strange feeling of anticipation of heinous tiredness and disorientation. Together with the fact that I have not eaten a proper meal at the correct time since cereals at 8am, makes me feel tired and disorientated, right now. It is now 2.15am UK time. I will change my watch and my computer's clock in a minute, so I can start ...

... br> After that we had a look at the Impressionists period before stopping for lunch. The buildings themselves are interesting enough but the art work and the way its presented is excellent. The period furniture is actually presented in rooms that have been preserved from buildings that were demolished or destroyed, quite amazing. We finished off our day at the Getty having a quick look at a special exhibition on the dancer/choreographer, Yvonne Rainer which had quite a few videos ...

On wednesday I slept in after being tired from carnival and the night before. Felt really lazy so got breakfast and walked around hollywood boulevard for a bit.. Went back to the hotel got ready and took the subway from Hollywood and Vine to NOHO (which means North Hollywood) to meet up with Lody, a friend from the Netherlands. The subway was very quiet and the ticket machine very confusing, I gave some change to this (I assume) homeless guy who helped me out buying my tap card and add ...
