We've tried to find things to stop and see but unlike the midwest and west, historical markers here have no early warning signs. I'm use to that sign that says "Historical Marker 1/2 mile ahead". JD is in high gear this morning. Took the truck into town for gas and quick Egg McMuffin breakfast. Pack up was quick and on the road by 8:00 am. We paid $3.25 for gas in ...

... and I spotted one this morning lurking in the shallows as we rode past. It really was scenic and some of the massive landholdings and houses we past were really impressive. All of the water front houses were build up on poles because of the floods caused by hurricanes etc. really amazing that they live with that scenario and have built accordingly. The other aspect to these house is they all have jetty's out ...

I departed at 8:30am from home and met up with Ramiro on the Turnpike close to where he lives. We took the Turnpike North to I-75 and onward to I-10 West where we then turned North at Mariana (SR231 or 321?). We pulled over around 7pm in Dothan, AL, at ...
