... dancing and climbing trees for a full 24 hours. The fact that this was voted everyone’s favourite day says a lot about the close connection of good friends, children to be able to connect with others so easily and the simplicity of a home cooked meal together with some old fashioned ball in the park. Not a piece of electronic equipment in sight nor asked for for the whole day.

Visiting the puppy-to-be

This stop is planned in order to visit the owners and breeder of a dog I plan to get once I am back from Alaska. I am so excited about getting a puppy and December seems so far away (which is when I can bring the puppy home).

The puppy is a Malagasy Coton de Tulear.

We stayed at the KOA in Renfro Valley. We only put on 149 miles today because we spent the afternoon with the dog breeder.

... most dangerous looking trail we could find. This was a hike adjacent to the river but unfortunately the rain decided to try and stop us. But these explorers were not going to be put off that easily and we persevered - only stopping occasionally to stop in caves when rain got heaviest.
