Drinking is not uncommon on the streets but doesn't occur that much.....some places more than others. But to walk through tourist areas in most major cities with a beer in your hand wouldn't get you arrested.....or even a second look. People will have a beer like they would have a Coke in the states. Officially this is the start of the TMT - Trans Merkan Trail.
Starting from Morristown we had a 100 mile ride to Jellicoe Tennessee to start the ride.
From here in it starts getting more difficult.
Not a bad day really. Very pretty still with some great roads and about 100 miles of dirt. Most of it loose gravel but easy at 35-50mph.
