I had bacon, eggs, and toast for breakfast which was free from the hotel. I am sad to see Tennessee in my rearview mirror but I am headed to Atlanta. I drove through the mountains and then stopped for lunch at Chipotle for $9.30. I only ate half and will finish the rest for dinner. I stopped for gas in Atlanta at Chevron for $36.90.

Chicka picked us up the next morning to meet Jay Rhodes, the director of learning and development, for a good old-fashioned southern breakfast, complete with biscuits and grits. Jay has been following our blogs, but we were able to fill him in on some ...

Nature has called me out West (again). Lex (my 2004 LX 470) has been equipped with overland camping gear along with a Suzuki DRZ 400 which will allow extend exploration from our camp sites. The roof top tent will arrive early this week with a planned departure on Wednesday. My friend Drew (originally from Australia) will be joining me on the trip. He has completed a similar trip back in ...
