Happy Mothers Day as a special treat we got to sleep in till 8 o'clock. It is now 10 am and we just hit the road. Heading north towards Myrtle Beach where Tropical Storm Ana landed this morning. We are hoping to get through and up to Roanoke Rapids NC today. Well it's 12:30 and we are seeing our first rain since leaving Canada 15 days ago. We are near Charston SC. Running into tropical storm Ana. Hopefully we will get through quickly and be ahead of her. All along the freeway ...

... pair of scissors to cut out a little piece to save as a memento.

The same goes for my shoes. I wish they could have finished tried and true, but they also disintegrated to the point that I could no longer ignore my toes sticking out or the cold metal of the pedals on my feet. What a miserable place!
It's hot as hell, the water in the pool looks like someone poured milk into it, and there is nothing to do in the area.
This is our own fault. We completely spaced about the holiday weekend and this was the ONLY place we could find available anywhere near where we want to go next.
    Boo for us.
We completely understand why this place is for ...
