Picked up the car at our friends, the Meadors. Hitting the road for Atlanta. Wow, it's been a whirlwind expedition! Feels like we've been gone for months. On exit we went to baggage claim and I rang the hotel and ordered the ...

... advice to take a Honda Accord! The sat nav worked well and we made to Sugar Magnolia B & B, a lovely timber house from 1894. Josie, a charming southern lady showed us around. Drove about 2 miles to North Highland Avenue to a restaurant area and had a nice meal at Parish, with a terrific bottle of Pinot from Dusky Goose, a wine from ...

... and the Centennial Olympic Museum was finished (2006). The main campus occupies 33 acres today, housing not only those museums but six historic gardens and the historic Swan House and Smith Family Farm. This complex is one of the largest history museums in the nation, bringing to life the story of the earliest settlers here and what makes Atlanta an international city today. Check out the interactive exhibits, living history ...
