Pulling into Atlanta in the late hours of Thursday evening, the first stop on the Alpha Kappa itinerary was the Fuller-Zorn House (formerly known as the Mossop Manner). Greeted by the Emory University chapter of ...

Atlanta and its OTT/slow security checks

A travel blog entry by dimps99 on Oct 13, 2013

The passport and immigration controls at Atlanta were by far the longest and most frustrating of the whole journey – and indeed any other journey that I've made. Having landing at 3pm local time there were just two very long and slow-moving queues for the incoming security checks, with frustratingly another 5 or 6 unmanned x-ray/conveyor sections standing idle nearby. After 45 minutes I had cleared ...
