Eight of us met at Macatawa Legends for Senior Day. Great deal - golf and lunch for $35. Such a beautiful day. Golf not so beautiful. Still had fun. Something about Boots? Back to Schmidts to pick up our stuff, then to Grand Rapids. Doing a Park 'n Fly while we are gone. Good place, will park car here while we are gone. Up early tomorrow. 7:30 flight to Anchorage.

After arriving at the airport, checking in, going through security, and waiting to board, my flight was cancelled, altering my entire itinerary. I am now leaving tomorrow afternoon. Luckily for me Laura saved me and I am now in a comfy bed typing this instead of scathing about the worst airport experience ever. :) Hopefully round two will be ...

I am sitting at the Grand Rapids airport, waiting for my flight to board. After saying all of my goodbyes I feel many things, but overall I am glad I made the choice to research abroad. It's hard to make changes in life, but sometimes a change is necessary in order to get to where you're going.

Excited to get to Cape Town, although I have a lot of travel time ahead of me!

Lance has also shown Dave the excess parsley & basil which he is permitted to pick any amount of at present.Lance then takes him to the cold-storage area where he brings out 3 large trays of mustard greens and kale plus a bag of 3 of the striped mignonette lettuces we already ...

Why did I pick all the wrong flights.

... What does that mean? At first I thought someone had past away, and I was like ahhhhhhhh **** this is some crazy stuff going on!! I never did find out what had happened but I don't think someone died. But when we landed we had to wait for the ambulances to come and take him off the planes. :| I finally got to my bags and got out the doors and Mr. Assaf and Joelle were kind enough to wait for me!! We put my stuff in the car and drove to my residence.
