... and Elias were strolling hand in hand through the Tokyo subway station well in front of us. By Morocco, Elias was heading out into the medina by himself in the mornings to negotiate breakfast in a language he didn't speak, and they were both guiding their newly-arrived grandparents through Casablanca city traffic.

... afternoon. On the drive in from the airport we noted a lot of houses with flat roofs and many were joined side by side. There was a waterway with floating houses side by side on it. We also saw the Oracle boat shed on the waterfront. Something quirky was a beggar, pacing up and down in front of cars stopped at the lights, with a sign reading "Bet you couldn't hit me with a quarter." ... we got singing, running commentary, tour guide advice and a huge smile. She had to be the funniest bus driver ever, cracking jokes with all the passengers and advising some passengers when to get off- "not here sir, you always try and get off here and keep getting lost, the stop you want is in 3 stops time, sit down, I've got your back". ... a few action packed days. The Queen Anne is slightly odd but comfortable and a good place for a quick stop over in San Francisco. It's American hotel does victorian English hotel, complete with afternoon tea and sherry.

MORNING!! Early start again today heading to the IHOP for breakfast, whoop!! Before collecting our bikes to ride the Bay front and the Golden Gate Bridge into Sausalito - exciting!! I even have my trainers on in preparation! IHOP breakfast, amazing!
