... enjoying the lightning over the mountains past the lake. When it started raining everyone retired to our beds and enjoyed a thunderstorm in the nice, dry shelter. It was great: we had a view out the door of the shelter of lightning behind the mountains past the lake. Today, we head into the Smokies. It's supposed to be pretty cold tonight, down around 25 degrees, but the rest of the time it's supposed to be fairly mild with maybe some thunderstorms later in the week. The campground is located in the Pigeon Forge area which is near Dollywood, Gatlinburg, etc., it looks like a great place to come with the kids lots of things to do a real tourist area like Mrytle Beach, just be sure to bring lots of $$$$$$$.

Sunday we were on our way to Verona which is near Roanoake in Virginia depending on weather we hope to get home in about 5 days or so.

Menu Item: Ham & Hash brown Omelet

Notes: Came with onions and 3 buttermilk pancakes also

Comments: It was good but not as good as I hoped. There wasn't enough substance to the omelet. The pancakes were just average.

Overall Impression: Below average omelet with average ...

... little something extra that you're always looking for in every meal. And what looks like a scoop of ice cream on the side (how glorious would that be) turns out to be enough butter to drive a Cadillac through a dog house.

Overall Impression: Most amazing pancakes I've ate in my entire life. Wish I lived closer so I could partake more.
