We are so lucky to have friends that invite us to ski at Waterville Valley. It's a really nice family focused resort about a 5 hour drive from New Canaan. The kids get on well and know the resort so well now that they ski or snow board together and then meet up with their slower parents at lunch or the end of the day.

I missed the turning for the house as it was pitch Black. Luckily Michelle had seen it and was waiting for me.

We hit the hay as soon as we got back. What a fantastic day of riding, eating and best of all, making new friends. My favourite part of bike travel.

This has long been a favorite ...

The loon was VERY unhappy that the bald eagle was hanging out in our pine tree. Luckily, the loon chicks are old enough now that they don't have to worry about the eagle. This eagle hung out for a long time, and wasn't bothered by us or the dogs. It's ...
