... few people holidaying. We drove right to the end of the peninsular that the main touristy area is built upon. Reminded us of the Gold Coast - canal homes and beachfront houses. At the end of the peninsular was a seaway like at the end of the spit. In face the whole area looked like what the spot would be like if development were permitted. ... a film set which had a demolished 747 airplane. They bought the plane for $60,000 and it cost $200,000 to transport it there where they demolished it into a crashed aircraft set.

The bus came at 6pm to pick us up and it was a busy enjoyable day, On the 6 lane wide highway coming back there were major holdups on the road with two five car pile ups. Went for pizza for dinner and it wasn't as good as Loxton pizza shops.

... apparently we were not the only people to make it the last stop of the day. We stood in line, in the RAIN and wind for 90 minutes or more. Of course Jeff and I being seasoned travelers had our ponchos. As seasoned travelers lacking occasionally in common sense, the ponchos were in the trunk of our car. We got soaked. LOL
