We drove about 400 miles today. A little further than we had wanted, but we relaxed when we arrived. We are in a very nice RV park, Arkadelphia RV Park. We have driven through much farmland. Soybeans, corn and now some cotton fields. Farmers are praying for dry weather and wind to dry out their fields. ... visiting before the MacDonald's headed home to a Saturday work project. The rain storm last night, which had little effect on our location, created major destruction in the nearby towns of Malvern and Sheridan, AR. We witnessed miles of downed trees and wires making us realize how lucky we were.
No room in the campground for us to stay longer, so we headed south winding up in Jackson, MS for the night.

Per Shanna Wimpee - next time we're here we should check out Lake Ouachita State Park - full hookups, 50 amp power, right on the lake (Site 25. Loop A.), current price $30/night. We'll take a ride out and check that out one day, too, as long as we're here!
Went to Bill Clinton's Presidential Library & Museum today. It is an amazing Presidential Center on about 35 acres. It includes the library, a 20,000 square foot dramatic glass structure overlooking the Arkansas River, a park area that has the Clinton Park Bridge and a separate building which is the Clinton School of Pubic Policy, affiliated with the University of Arkansas.
