We got up late after a fitful sleep! Headed off to the Nasa Space Center. Amazing history of space travel and lots of fun things for the kids. A real live space shuttle on site, gives perspective on its immense size and the how astronauts can make there way to space. Precision is a must! What a great day! We will leave pleasant Guntersville Marina behind with its beautiful boats and houses and curious problems with toilet foot flushers to look for new adventures.

... Calliope ship shape. He is the man as Bart will tell you. We actually stopped in Guntersville to let Don have one last go at Calliope before we set off into the wild blue yonder.

Finally, Guntersville is special to me because my mother is from Alabama and we used to come to Guntersville Lake when I was very, very young. In fact, I was so young I did not remember until my mother told me. I still don't remember but I took ...
