... known as Big Sur and it was absolutely remarkable. The road curves along the ocean from cliffs hundreds of feet above the sea. We stopped at a park that had a trail that went underneath the highway out to the point on a cliff and you could see a waterfall that used to fall into the ocean until a huge landslide caused the cove to now have a beach. ... 180 miles, but it seemed like 300 for some reason. Easy drive until we got to Salinas and the traffic became bumper to bumper coming from the beachside communities. Once we were through that we got to Betabel RV Park. We've got a beautiful corner spot that’s probably the longest in the park, right next to the dog walk and open space. Perfect!!
