    ... approach rather than a cab. It's called uber. Wish us luck and hope we don't get kidnapped because uber works by having a random stranger pick you up and then you pay him or her after they have successfully dropped you off at your INTENDED location. We should get to you again tomorrow when we officially get started on our latest adventure! ...

    ... motor boat on the opposite dock - on account of no precision steering without the second engine, a brisk cross breeze and a congested dock.

    We've had a couple of wins. Ken has just put up the wind generator and it appears to be fixed. Also ... no, really only one win. The battery man came and agreed that the battery couldn't have been immersed. We're waiting to hear the outcome - probably a new battery at half price.

    ... after dinner we had slices of pound cake drizzled with amaretto and topped with ice cream. Yummy!

    Ken had forgotten to get something at Walmart so he and Jerry went back. I cleaned up the kitchen and then tried to find NCIS on television but couldn't find CBS. Needless to say Jerry found it as soon as he got back.

    Early to bed after NCIS New Orleans and slept well. Looking forward to the big show ...

    ... soccer stars, tree climbing, marching bands, trees lit up like Avatar, an ice skating rink and an inflatable soccer pitch that made Daniel and Reuben want to slide tackle the 4 year olds. The best part was dinner from the food stalls. Mum and Dad had Greek chicken wraps called gyros and the boys had a massive bbqd turkey leg each and looked like the Flintstones. It was great they had kids fireworks at 8pm as well as midnight so we could go home for our early start the next ...
