It was a nice easy drive to General Coffee State Park in Nicholls, Ga. The park is nice but only 2 other campers beside the host are here. All the sites are pull-thrus with water and electric only. We are relaxing before we go see our grandchildren in Crawfordville, Florida.

... to start someone asked us where we were from because they didn't think we were from there.

The movie was pretty good but probably not what we all expected.

Before the movie we were taking a picture of the group in front of the sign when the lady taking tickets came out of the door and said she would take it for us so we could all be in it. It was the Sweet Onion Cinema

We went into Hazelhurst on Thursday to get fuel. We call it fuel because we all have diesel trucks and you don't call it gas. Of course we had to make a stop at the local Wal-Mart.

... staying here longer or moving on. However, its is hard to find something now that it is October and the Corp parks are shut down. Even the web site is shut down.

We are enjoying the campground. The people are nice, the park is very well maintained, and the weather is beautiful. Slept with our windows open last night.

... would end up back in Tallahassee but we finally made it and saw some great back country. We were surprised to see a grove of olive trees.

The park is gorgeous and we compare it to a Corp park because it is so well maintained. It is on the Altamaha River (not the campground though). We are 8 miles north of Hazelhurst and 20 miles south of Vidalia. We are told that we are 14 miles from a Walmart.
