... orgy till after 3 in the AM. Phil tries to reason with them but Doris blurted out that they should just go back to Brazil!! They are not supposed to be there anyway-It is a low purchase price unit for a poor person to give them a ’hand up’, but she is not living here-she is renting it out to a bunch of illegals—anyway they are not ‘good neighbors"! They are going to meet with owner at 5 tonight, but not going to do any good. ...

From there we headed west, I think, to the New Balance Shoes outlet store. Phil now has 3 new pair and I have one. Home through the rush hour traffic, but not too bad as we ignored the freeways and took the surface streets. Dinner was salads at Italia and then home. Was a nice day and the weather was cooperating!

          ... all week!

August 14th- I was able to leave around 11:30 for home. Enjoyed my visit with James. It is a long drive home from here-and I did not get there till 7pm! That did include a half hour nap at a rest area. Those LA on area roads are scary – so glad I do not have to do that every day! Palm Springs had a temp of 107!! By the time I entered Phoenix it was down to 102!! My house was hot, set at 90 degrees on the AC so ...
