    ... Kristin and Lance, and Gabe and Bernadette were also there. We had a great traditional turkey dinner and the pies were good. I was concerned about the Blueberry one since I had to find a recipe online-did not my ‘old favorite’ with me. I used one called Creamy Blueberry and it has custard poured on it before baking, and it turned out better than I could have thought! Everyone enjoyed themselves and we stayed till dark again!

    ... the newly dedicated statue to Edgar Allen Poe. And my cold is finally over!! It is beautiful out, a bit cool but not bad. We parked at the Y and walked a couple of miles to find the statue and actually walked past it! Asked some students from the Emerson College and they didn’t even know who Poe was!     ... and it takes a lot of time. At each crossing our driver gives the ‘border guards’ a couple of bottles of water, soft drinks or beer. The guards here gave each of us a bookmark.     ... hour the constable would ask Corey did he plead guilty or not guilty to which Corey would respond 'more rocks' every time. Another boulder would be added. Corey's eyes and tongue popped out but the constable only popped the tongue back in and continued. Corey was eventually pressed to death but never gave a plea.
