Sleepy towns
... visibility extremely poor. On top of that, the huge trucks (and there were so many of them!) were going stupidly fast, it was so dangerous!! Thankfully, we made it to Revelstoke in one piece. Quite a sleepy little town at this time of year, with the ski season not due to kick off for another month. We checked in to our beautiful B&B for the night, I could totally get used to this B&B thing!! Anja's place was just gorgeous, with a fireplace of our own ...
Visiting family in Kelowna
... guides, other tourists etc …
Makes one a little homesick for family. I
even got to read a bedtime story to Brianna. Now that was special!
Will call
in and see them before we leave in the morning. Keith found some Vegemite earlier (thank goodness, now we can all have some peace) and we promised to bring some over for their breakfast.
This will be interesting!

The national language of Malta is Maltese, a Semitic language which descended from Maghrebi Arabic, with many words borrowed from Italian and, in particular, Sicilian. Thank heaven most ...
Back to Civilisation
... idea, so we checked into a cheap motel that was quite nice and even came with breakfast. After a light dinner, we drove back into downtown and had a few beers with the boys at an Irish pub near the waterfront. We decided after a few jugs to continue back at the hostel and ended up running into Christian and his family who were on their way back from Vancouver! It was so bizarre to see a few people from Banff in the same place, but it was definitely a pleasant surprise.
