Highlights for me though were the Cabernet Sauvignon from Mission Hill which was surprisingly full bodied and smoky and the two grapes I hadnt experienced before - Foch and Ehrenfauser..... and of course the Icewine! My suitcase will be quite heavy on the way home as I bought the Cabernet Sauvignon and also a Syrah based Icewine.

We also visited a Distillery and a Brewery as part of our organised tour on the Saturday. At ...

... I saw a guy walking his ferrets!! They has dinner ready for us smoked salmon, chicken drumsticks mashed taty and veg - yum.
Dorm accommodation, was a bit stuffy at first but improved and didn't sleep too bad considering all the elephants wandering up and down the passage..
Left at 8 am now and did a stop at a huge store to purchase food for the next few days as we'd be on the road with not much ...

... the 'decorations' as fast as they could. Or Caden 'helping' empty the dishwasher (and any cupboard he could find).... sitting quietly on the couch reading a book or watching a video of Asher skiing down the hill. All of these moments seem ordinary but they are far from it. Though our holiday was a little more low key it was, indeed, extraordinary.
Looking forward to next year.... hopefully Carissa can make the next one.

... of our runs we came upon a lost Margaret who was trying to get home, Russ, Margaret and I had a ski together and it started to get cold and the nice day was going so we decided to head for home. It is great not having to go to the car park, take off your boots then drive home like we do at Jindabyne, you just put the code in and the garage door opens take off your boots put them in the drying room and go upstairs.
