... I saw a guy walking his ferrets!! They has dinner ready for us smoked salmon, chicken drumsticks mashed taty and veg - yum.
Dorm accommodation, was a bit stuffy at first but improved and didn't sleep too bad considering all the elephants wandering up and down the passage..
Left at 8 am now and did a stop at a huge store to purchase food for the next few days as we'd be on the road with not much ...

... across the road! Yes I had a bit of retail therapy.
We didn't do much in Kelowna we got in after 5pm and left again at 7:45am. One sure could spend a few days here and enjoy what the place has to offer. It leaves you wanting to come back again. You then enter into 'mountain time' which is an hour different from Vancouver.

... the top 100 countdown to win a snowboard. I guessed riptide as no. 1 so I was in the draw :) Pre-drinks and listening to the countdown started at Jess's house when then went to another house party at Dans. Finally we made it to Raakels where we kicked on on for the rest of the countdown. EPIC night! So many lamington shots and drinks sunk! ... like a very new city with lots of development and attractive surrounds. A quick stop in the visitor centre pointed us in the direction of Bear Creek Provincial Park where we found a lush, scenic campsite with great facilities. Stocked up at the Supacentre which Tom described as Bunnings but for groceries. Dinner was wieners over the fire (Hot Dogs) and they were surprisingly good. Bridalveil Falls
Our first stop on the Moose bus to Kelowna was (insert drum roll)...a waterfall! Forgive my lack of excitement but I have seen plenty of waterfalls on this trip. Bridalveil falls is a fairly common name for waterfalls, as many of the look like bridal veils (which pretty much reflected how I felt).
