... It is a Thousand Trails Campground and it is close enough to Penticton that it could be a spot we could use for a quick camping trip in the future. We found it to be very picturesque as the site we had overlooked the Columbia river.

We packed up in a hurry as clouds threatened to dampen our tents again after a rainy night. With everything stashed in the van we headed south towards Nakusp along some quiet roads.
