        ... the undergrowth as there were no other sightings for the major part of the day. We did see various other wildlife including Ground Squirrels (very cute), Bald Eagle (immense), chipmunks, Flippers (otherwise called Woodpeckers), Snow Toed Hares (bottom of the food chain here bless them), a Dipper Bird (the only bird that swims under water), and a Giant Toad.

        ... to shame being in the big city and resorting to ready meals and take-outs when feeling a tad tired. It appers that of the three groups we had been ridiculously lucky with our sitings. Some others had fleeting glimpses, which of course made us feel even more appreciative of what we had experienced. I managed one glass of wine before sleep called me - here’s hoping for something later than 5am……

        ... Matt which Nina took a shine to) were really knowledgable and passionate about bears and the wilderness and taught us loads, and Kristen was an incredible cook who fed us constantly. The 8 guests and 2 guides have meals together round the table every morning and evening which was really nice and we got to know them all pretty well over the 4 days.
