... drive to look for bears again. You are literally in the middle of nowhere and we both loved it. Think we are gonna struggle going back to office jobs when we get home as this made us both want to work in the outdoors and do something completely different. Our cabin looked out over the river and rapids and the view and sound of the water when you were drifting off to sleep was amazing. Julius and his 2 guides (one of whom was a hot 24 year old ...

... tour...we found out the next morning that we only got one of the couples right though. On Monday morning, Julius, the owner of the Ranch met us in one of the Hotel conference rooms at the Hotel, where he gave us an interesting overview about the sociology, biology and behavior of bears generally, including the differences between Black Bears and Grizzly Bears. Julius was a very interesting fellow, a British war correspondent for many years covering Iraq, Afghanistan and many other ...

... It was dark when we left for the lodge and we rode slowly home as there is so much wildlife on these roads.

We decided to stay for another day and after a beautiful breakfast we lazed the day away then Sigrid and Brian walked to Fletcher Falls. Brian and I rode into Kaslo and shopped for a BBQ dinner the meat was expertly cooked by CJ. We ate out on the back deck and it was a lovely evening.
