... While registering at the office we noticed a fantastic doggie walk area with green grass and a metal fence entirely around the perimeter--a great place to let kitty out to stretch her legs and spend some quiet moments just eating grass.

The highway noise from the large truck traffic was loud, we were too close to the highway. Kitty got quickly spooked for being in the fenced area, scooted under the cyclone fence ...

... It is tradition amongst travelling police to swap patches and this became the first of a few stops where Kenn swapped Danish Politi patches for Sheriff ones and I am really pleased to be included and the first one: SHERIFF - Vermilion Parish

Note; lunch was superb too with traditional Louisianna friend chicken, gumbo and a desert not unlike doughnuts but actually, nicer....
