... a ride. There were so many switchbacks and hairpin curves. The scenery was breathtaking and when we got to the top we could see for hundreds of miles. The mountains looked purple from up there, hence the phrase "purple mountains majesty." The lady that wrote America the Beautiful wrote it after seeing the view from the top of the mountain. Although the mountain is named after Zebulon Pike, he never climbed to the top of the mountain. ...

Our friends did not join our tour to the Garden of the Gods, but everyone becomes friends on reunions of any size.
