... Short walk from sea and a river for Paul to fish in. No one else staying on site... Facilities are a lot to be desired. Rustic is the best description. Quick walk in the morning and Paul had his first sighting of kangaroo's. Up until now the only ones he had seen we dead at the side of the road. Decided to move on as we need a decent shower and this site is not for the faint hearted...Pacific highway en route to our next stop.... Wherever that will ...

We have a plan for another adventure this year - again framed round a Big Walk! This time it is the Coast to Coast (C2C) 300 km walk across England, from St. Bees on the Irish Sea in the Lakes District across to Robin Hood's Bay on the North Sea coast on the Yorkshire moors. It was a really pretty spot. Back on ...

... the good and bad, some absolute dream places such as stunning mountain tops, deserts, salt flats, Machu Picchu, having the best time and being in awe at the creations of both Mother Nature and a glimpse into the life of previous civilisations, or just generally wining, dining or a massage for the hell of it cause why not, I'm on holiday. On the other hand, visiting some total shitholes (Uyuni, potosi), some terrible hotels, and those meals where you wish you ...

... was dark at this point, it was very pretty! Tomorrow is our last day in Sydney, we are leaving at 6pm on a greyhound bus overnight and arrive in Byron bay early tomorrow morning. Tomorrow we are going to look around the opera house, botanic gardens and walk across the harbour bridge (not climb it!). We're also going to get the ferry over to a place called manly which is apparently very nice! We are not sure when we will have wifi next but will update when we can :) ...
