    This is a small hillock in the south of Nanjing where legend has it that an young monk named Yunguang started preaching and raindrops fell from the heavens and rested as agate stones on the ground.

    It later became an execution ground for the Nationalists when Nanjing became their capital in 1927 and it is alleged that 100,000 communists, intellectuals and peasants were murdered here by the Kuomintang.

    ... but ended up having to borrow some more. I bought 80 decorated chopsticks in satin bags for all the kids classmates in Oz, and satin bathrobes for my girlfriends and family. I bought rip-off DVDs, a new wallet for Steve, gifts for the kids to give their besties, earrings, a handbag and many other things.
