... teacher/friend made an appointment for me today and took me to the salon. The big difference is that your hair is cut first and then washed. Because I had pictures from the last time Kim cut my hair home, language wasn't a problem and all went well. TIm just got home and he had 2 shampoos and blow dries with his short hair!

Lots of new experiences this week with a number of celebrations. Monday was a holiday for many Chinese, but our school stayed open. It was the mid fall moon feast, celebrated by giving friends and relatives boxes of moon cakes - nasty things, according to my kids.
