... them at the entrance and we hopped a bus to the subway to begin our journey home. It was 3:30ish at this time and we were starving so once at the subway we road it to the grand Theater stop and got off to eat at the mall. Since we were starving we just made a beeline to the Pizza Hut and decided to just eat and not be adventurous. We are so much more fun when we aren't starving.

It was a pretty quiet weekend. Friday night I went to have sushi with Kai. Then I slept in Saturday morning and took it easy until 4 PM when I went out to meet another friend, Monique, for the Illumirun.
The Illumirun is a 5k run that advertised itself as a "Party On The Run". It featured glow in the dark paint that they threw on you at a few different stations. They also gave you a light up baton, light up glasses and a light up bracelet. ...

... memories is also closed to visitors now. The world lost some of it's innocence when the world trade center came down. We entered Canada so many times at the Vermont border. Once I stopped the car at customs. "Business or pleasure?" I pointed at the canoe on the car roof. Big smile. "Have a nice trip!" What do you mean? Passports? ... found our seats. We were being ourselves, talking too loud, giggling a lot, and having some candy. Unfortunately the Shenzhen symphony was not having it. They put a kibosh on the candy and they spoke to our compatriot, the really loud laugh er. The symphony was called Alborado del Gracioso and featured music by Maurice Ravel. There was a guest pianist who came in for a piano concerto and then put on one heckuva encore. The symphony was amazing and I want to do it ...
