I have finally reached Hangzhou. As the capital of the mighty Song Dynasty this city is the most advanced and splendid in the world. The city itself is very large, I would say nearly one hundred miles. Hangzhou is very different than any other city I have seen on the Silk Road because it is far larger and more advanced. The city has thousands of stone bridges as well as thousands of baths. Many other cities have baths ...

After a few weeks we have finally arrived in Hangzhou. It is by far the most beautiful city I have come across yet! From everything including many of the Buddhists such as Lingyin (which had a giant gold statue of the Buddha and tons of wood carvings), and the Liuhe Pagoda, (which does not seem to be as impressive after seeing the Iron Pagoda, but it is still a sight to behold), to the West Lake, (which puts the Five ...

... 4 people to being packed. We were moving so slowly and there were so many people the bus driver even turned on the AC for us! That doesn't happen too often! When we finally arrived at Hefang Street it was pouring outside. I wore my anorak but it turns out it isn't a very good raincoat (read: I looked like I had gone swimming except my hair wasn't wet. Hefang Jie is very similar to Ancient Culture Street in Tianjin. It is supposed to look ancient and has lots of ...

... br> Work is very very busy, as I a writing lots of IEP's (individual education plans). And after working at ELG for just one month and a bit I seem to now be orientating the new speech therapist. They keep amazing me. I love working there, but have never been so tired from a weeks work. The plus side is, I am seriously improving my assertiveness.

I will now make us a (hopefully) nice curry and relax with our increasingly expanding dvd-collection.
