... Beijing airport - it was probably one of the best organised airports we have been to yet! It was when we got the Chengdu, that we weren't too impressed. Day 32- Come Together
So, it's Friday the 29th of July...I only have 5 full days left here in Beijing before I have to leave for Shanghai on the 2nd. In a week, my semester in Shanghai is going to kick off and I'll begin my more formal blog posts for my Independent Study. Beijing - Forbidden City
... charged 4, awkward. We took a wrong turn and ended up at an exit and we thought we'd been ripped off but we backtracked and you end up walking through loads of courtyards, around these huge, amazing buildings - huge pagoda type things. At the end was the Imperial Garden, this was really lovely but we didn;t get many pictures as I felt a bit funny. We then went over to Tian'anmen Square. This was alright, a clean, big version of Trafalger - bit dissappointing so we got a few pictures ...

Great Wall and a Chinese Halloween
... the temperature was pretty decent. I met many friends from different places including Russia, Armania, France and *****ia. My group (about 15) walked up to the top (awesome exercise) and explored the vast distance of the wall. It was so amazing!!
