Just thought I'd post a few pics from around campus and from my first observational position. The campus to me seems like something from a movie, everything is so big and kinda west palm beach-ish. Every morning I do my yoga practice in the soccer field, while others are jogging, or doing tai-qi and qi gong. Pretty Cool!!!
... in 1927. The park also includes Zhao Ling the tomb of the second Qing dynasty emperor- Huang Taji. It was constructed between 1643 and 1651. Also, beautiful ponds full of lotus flowers in bloom, and over 2000 ancient pine trees which are over 400 years old.
What a great introduction to China!

... in the countryside. This was RURAL China. The sight of white people literally brought people out of their homes. We went to this little store to get water and it was like a village gathering. Everyone was related somehow, this one lady shared my grandpa's grandpa. A lot of people remembered me from when I was very little. It was a really fun experience! We'll be the talk of the town for quite a while after this.
