... Children's Welfare Institute. We were kindly received by the Director of the home and one of his attendants. Needless to say, Qiang recognized the surroundings and he ran ahead merrily with the director's assistant. In turn he was warmly received by his friends. The orphanage is regarded has one of the better orphanages, but our perception is that it is far below western standards. ... must have had a huge impact. Unfortunately, Caitlin hasn'tfallen asleep either. Our hotel room is a bit small when it comes to thesleeping arrangement. The two kids are together in the same room. We are in fora treat tomorrow. At 9 o'clock we have to be up and ready.

... my closet and put up my winter clothes and got out my spring/summer clothes. But, alas, winter decided to turn around and wave goodbye, apparently, as it is now back down around 40 degrees.
