... summer. Mia posing for countless, literally countless, of pictures for random Chinese tourists while Cate was the always protective big sister. They walked and walked and saw some of the greatest things and tried everything that was put in front of them...well almost everything. This is one of the best summers and hopefully we will be able to do it again!!!

... that performed many tricks on bikes and at one stage there were nine ladies on one bike, a man that stacked chairs up and balanced on them, men that ran and skipped Blind folded around the outside of spinning rings connected by a steel platform. The best act included four motor bikes in a steel circular cage all riding around at high speed. they were great,
After this show, we had a nice meal at the hotel and had an early night for a early start ...

Our next stop was the nearby Ming Tombs. There are actually 13 tombs of different Ming Dynasty emperors, all located within about 10 acres. The area was selected based on feng shui principles by the 15th century Yongle emperor. And that’s whose tomb we visited.

I hate to say this, but all of these ancient buildings look alike, ...

... stay! I love it here, I really do and I can't explain how much this has been the best experience of my life!!! Who else gets to live and work in China for 6 months??? Mental haha.... I've made some life long friends and there's a lot of people here that I will remember and miss forever!!! :( .... I will definitely come back here in the future, such a cool country and there is so much left to see!!!! Goodbye China, I love you!!!! xxxxxx Roll on Qatar ;) ...

Forbidden City & the Hutong Alleys - Day 6

... dinner with local people at the hutong alleys. I met a guy who cooked us dinner, I recognised him from guest appearance on Masterchef, a cooking TV show in Australia. He's a funny character, quite an entertainer who loves to have us laughing in stitches. Dinner was quite delicious.
His wife showed us tea ceremony by demo the tea tasting. I enjoyed time with them.
