Back at the hotel we sat in Shashank and Thomas' room to have our food and also some curry which Shashank had brought in case he didn't like the food here! It was very tasty but we discovered afterwards that it is extremely unhealthy; we're talking 50 to 90% of your daily saturated fat per half portion! I'm sure we will sweat it out ...

I feel so tired all the time. Often I am up really late trying to get things done on the super-slow internet, and then have to get up early for school the next day. Some nights I don’t sleep well because my brain won’t stop processing all the bizarre things that have happened during the day or I am woken by weird noises (including alarms ...

... Fresh in town (popular with Westerners). Caroline showed me how to get a taxi expat style: walk into a 5 star hotel, pretend you’re staying there and have the concierge organize a taxi for you. Apparently this is also a good trick for posting mail. My driver had asked for the night off (social event) so left us at Elements Fresh. The taxi home (approx 30 min drive) cost us a total of $8! Bargain! A 10 min taxi ride from Adelaide airport cost me $22 in ...
