    ... the 2014 youth Olympics (which I didn't know was a thing). I went to a Buddhist temple near the old Ming walls, the walked on the wall to the park entrance. I then visited the tomb of the first Ming emperor (the only one not buried In Beijing) and the tomb of Sun Yat-Sen--acknowledged by both Nationalists and Communists as the father of republican China.     We arrived in Nanjing on another bullet train - 2 hours from Shanghai, only two stops, but slightly slower than the Beijing-Shanghai special that we had used a week or so before.
