    nothing around the area unless you have a car. it's a bed for the night and the owner is very friendly.

    After 14 hours of playing games, drinking, watching movies and eating we manage to stay awake during the whole flight. We make it all the way through the customs rigmarole only to be called over at the 2nd last checkpoint and Rich is whisked off to a questioning area and I wasn't allowed to go in with him. He was quizzed about being a 1 percenter! …

    ... Although our Sunday sojourn in LA involved a significant amount of waiting, luckily we didn't have too much planned, so it really wasn't a problem.

    I think the time we allowed for each city was just right. If you have time, allow a week per city. Gives you some down time to explore without having to rush to see everything. There is some rushing, but not too much.

    ... The girl was home in bed sick. The number of people I know is nowhere near how many the Guru knows so to bump into someone overseas you have not seen for 2 years is a bit weird.

    Elle goes to the pier while I go back to the room to sort out a couple of things. Apparently the way to get to Hollywood from here is a bus so I get instructions.
