... approach rather than a cab. It's called uber. Wish us luck and hope we don't get kidnapped because uber works by having a random stranger pick you up and then you pay him or her after they have successfully dropped you off at your INTENDED location. We should get to you again tomorrow when we officially get started on our latest adventure! ...

... with our apartment being right on the beach with a balcony to sit out on. We have a large lounge/kitchen area, bedroom, bathroom and laundry area which is useful as we have been away for nearly two weeks and the dirty washing was beginning to pile up!

There is a supermarket nearby so we were able to stock up and dine in which made a nice change. We were also able to watch from our balcony a beautiful sunset.

Weather looks set fair for the coming week - fingers crossed!

... it is definitely a maze. We went in one that cost nearly a million dollars and I have to say if someone were giving me any one unit our there it wouldn't be that one. We saw some nice ones though. I had planned to look at the Holiday Rambler, the Winnebago and the Tiffin Phaeton LH. Somewhere along the line of my research I had seen the Holiday Rambler Vacationer and the Winnebago Adventurer and Grand Tour 2HL ...

... then we started hoping getting showered, dressed, and packed up to leave. Leave time is 9:30 and I think we'll make it. I took a couple of pictures of the campground sign and the main building. I want to try to start doing this to help me remember where we've been. I know after a while memories will become blurred and all merge together.

Had a nice ride to Dover and for the most part easy driving. I'm glad ...

... Joanna and her husband Geoff in Durham, NC. We have heard such great things about this town and were eager to check it out. While we only had a few hours, and it was dark, they gave us a thorough and informative driving tour, including a tour of the Duke campus which was fun. The next day, we hit the road to Virginia for a quick visit, and then the home stretch -- 7 hours further north arriving in NJ around 10 PM on Dec. 22.

Overall, a great way to spend December!
